Chalermla Park Graffiti Street Art

This awesome collection of graffiti street art can be found at a park in Bangkok. It’s an interesting way to spend a couple of hours – and makes for some unique photographs.

The murals have been spray painted on the Chalermla Park, an small green outdoor space in the Ratchathewi district of the Thai capital.

They include spray paintings of elephants – Thailand’s national animal – and other traditionally Asian scenes given a funky and colourful contemporary twist.

Street art first started appearing at the park following the Bukruk festival in 2016, which hosted graffiti artists from around the world. One of the most well-known was Alex Face and many of his paintings can still be found in the area.

Since then, the area has become a magnet for Bangkok’s graffiti artists and many new murals are appearing all the time.

”In some ways, it is like an open-air art exhibition because if you come back in a few months, you might see a new set of artwork,” said travel blogger Richard Barrow.

Chalermla Park, also known as graffiti park, is an interesting place to visit in Bangkok due to the many attractive pieces of street. As can be seen from the video, tourists like to pose for pictures and selfies in front of the stunning designs.

Many of the surrounding walls, buildings, bridges and subways have also attracted street artists who want to express themselves. Not far from the graffiti park is Song Wat Road, which has also become host to many colourful murals.

Why not visit Chalermla Park then take a small graffiti walking tour to this destination?
