Bounce Thailand is a large indoor trampoline park in Ratchada, Bangkok. Forget your back garden bouncer, this place has taken it to a whole new level. Bounce has a lot of trampolines – all set up for loads of cool activities. There are trampolines with balls and basketball hoops so even the shortest person can slam dunk, a huge course with angled trampolines and padded walls to bounce over, giant trampolines that bounce into air pits, a trampoline dodgeball court, a wall to bounce and run up (yes this is amazing and pretty advanced) and a super trampoline with extra bounce, where users can strap a soft snowboard / skateboard shaped board to their feet.

Bouncing and trampolining is heaven for kids and super-fun for adults too, as it’s guaranteed to bring out their inner child. Bounce is also a great work out, and they have special fitness classes.

Anybody who has ever played on a trampoline will love Bounce Thailand – and anyone who has never tried trampolining will love Bounce Thailand. It’s great for children, adults, fun-dates, team building, fitness and exercise – a fun afternoon or evening in Bangkok. The location is easy to find and there is little traffic in this part of the city. Bounce is on the top floor of a shopping mall with restaurants and shops below. Price is reasonable, but perhaps 90 minutes would be better for 400 baht as the cost of socks, lockers, drinks and travel can make it quite expensive for a large family.

If you want to see just what can be done there with a little practice, take a look at the video below from freerunners Team Farang… (they get to keep their shoes on instead of using the special blue and yellow socks!).

Bounce Thailand about half the size of football pitch, and in a small section next to the trampoline area is an area with several climbing walls (though this is separate and needs a different payment to get into this part).

Bounce Thailand only opened at the start of 2016 so it’s all still very new and clean. And what’s more, it’s still fairly quiet so there are no issues with overcrowded trampolines. There are also about half a dozen ‘referees’ on the park at all times to help people and keep everything in order. They’re teenage trampolining experts and it’s great to watch them show off their skills, or to ask for advice on how to perform a certain maneuver.

The company behind Bounce Thailand, named BounceInc, also has seven similar parks in Australia – Bounce Australia – and in Hong Kong, Dubai and South Africa. So it’s clear they’re serious, and they know what they’re doing. Everything is run smoothly, professionally, the staff are very sharp about safety, and they speak good English.

Getting onto the price… it’s 400 baht for a 1 hour session. One hour seems short at first, but in reality most people are exhausted after 20 minutes – especially those who charge in and go crazy for the first 5 minutes. Digital lockers that take a CCTV shot of the person opening them for extra security are available for 40 baht, and users have to buy a special people of Bounce socks for 80 bath. These have rubber grip on the bottom and make trampolining so much safer. They can also be taken home for the next visit.
